PHILADELPHIA, April 1, 2015—An entry-level release of PerfTechLite zAnalytics®, an IT performance reporting tool designed specifically for cost-conscious IT management professionals, was introduced here today in response to the demand for a low-priced mainframe reporting solution.
PerfTechLite zAnalytics is a solution providing automated data collection, analysis and reporting of selected RMF Records and is upward compatible with the full-function PerfTechPro zAnalytics product.
PerfTechLite zAnalytics enables precise measurement and analysis of resource usage, giving IT management professionals the ability to measure and manage the efficiency and effectiveness of their zSystem servers.
PerfTechLite zAnalytics was introduced by company founders William Shelden, PhD, and William Hart. Both are former IBM staffers with long-time experience with mainframe performance management issues.
Introducing the entry-level product, Shelden said PerfTechLite zAnalytics’ affordability and intuitive interface belie its sophistication. “PerfTechLite zAnalytics is designed to deliver sophisticated, affordable, easy-to-use solutions for IT management professionals looking for fast, insightful help without high-cost, complex and time-consuming licensing requirements.”
Hart noted that PerfTechLite zAnalytics processes RMF Records, then summarizes these records into a Microsoft Access database. The annual license price for PerfTechLite zAnalytics is $4,995 per location.
